Cumberland Mountain Outreach Ministries is a Faith based 501/c3 for children in the Appalachian Region.

In the spring we receive approximately 35 Home repair applications (The Home repair Applications are for families needing help with basic home repair needs.) We then interview all the families and make a folder for each of them, posting a profile of them on Facebook atCumberland Mountain for your church to review.

When Youth groups register to come to C.M.O. they work on one or two of these homes that they have chosen. At the same time, some of your youth may host a 3 day Kid’s Camp.

Your team may also be able to help with one of our many street ministries.

We need your help, if you are able to help us with a monthly support; donations for our onsite second hand store or if your group would like to sign up; please check us out www.cmoky.org  then give us a call. 606-464-8134

Were there any indicators that you identified before you went to Newton Falls (during the candidating process) that led you to believe it was a good fit? The reason I'm asking such questions is because I have a pastor whom I've known for a long time who is has gone to two seperate churches and gotten in trouble/experienced dificulties. Obviously since we've been here in Crystal River for 11+ years it's a good fit, but I can't identify anything that led me to believe it would be any different thaqn any other church I've pasotred/attended. While I cautioned him against going to the first church, I didn't have the same vibe about this second one. Is it just "luck" or are there recognizable signs?

What was the difference between New Port Richey & Newton Falls as far as your believing that God had led you there?

Thanks for contemplating these questions and for sharing your thoughts with me.

Eight years! How time flies!! What have you been preaching recently? What's the key to your success at Newton Falls? Ever think about leaving?

Bro Edmondson,

Glad to see you are alive and well in Ohio. I'm still in Crystal River, Florida and doing well. Happy to see you are pastoring a "normal" church and have been there for awhile.
